Moments is a nice short story about a love failure. Just a different approach has been tried here. The visuals lack the depth to deliver such a story. But not bad, though.
Two lovers recall their love episode beginning from the love proposal to the college studies and to the final exam result. With the exam results a failure, they both feel the heat at home and decide to commit suicide. Of course, they die.
Now as spirits, they feel that they should not have died and that they should have studied without giving up. They feel the loss of their family. So unknowingly, the film conveys that they both died because of the failed exams and not because of the love (or any forces against love). This could have been avoided because to tell that story these young lovers would not be needed. Any school or college student would do. In fact, the film tries to say because of the love only they both have failed in their life and are dead now. Even though, the director would not have envisioned such a concept, the film and its narration and the events focus only this. It is sad.
Otherwise, the music is smooth and the camera is nice. Both the lovers deliver dialogues quite easily and when the girl breaks down at the end, it looks so real. The girl’s face has a sad feeling throughout. Nice performance and nicest way of presentation. It is a good film with a beautiful message!
